About the comic

Capital P is a comic about a man who is inspired by fictitious superheroes and decides to become a real-life crime fighter. After a murder takes place this man, who calls himself “The Patroller”, must make some very difficult choices of morality and deal with the consequences.

It’s a story of what happens when four-color concepts of justice meet the real world.

About the creators

Capeverse Comics is the indie publishing label of Sam Gardner Jr. Sam has had work previously published in the Comichaus anthology and Starburst magazine and has had a comic that sings and another that unfolds into a superhero costume archived in the V&A Musuem of Art & Design.

Sam’s previous work has been described as “remarkable” by Bleeding Cool’s Rich Johnston. He’s also had stories featured in the Pilgrim Strips/Tamar Brigade anthologies and has worked with Big Punch Studios.

Jerome Canty has drawn comics for Futurequake Press, Something Wicked, Grey Haven Comics and Phoenix Publishing and Media. He’s also contributed sequential art for stories in The Psychedelic Journal of The Wild, Wild West and the Journal of Wizardry.

Outside the medium of comics, Jerome has provided concept art for the horror movie, Siren Song.
